This is the third year in a row that John Boothman has entered this race and he was the only Barlicker there. The race was won by Ted Mason and John trotted round to finish 52nd out of 83. As usual there were plenty of prizes including a holiday and as always there was a good craic in the Fat Lamb afterwards.

This run turned into a dual between Lucas Payne and Lee Athersmith. They pulled away from the other 96 competitors during the first lap with Lee making a couple of attempts to distance Lucas, but he underestimated the tenacity of the old fella, who dug in even harder and did the business on the final lap.

After the first race in this season's league, Barlick A are leading division three, Barlick B are leading division four and the ladies are in third place in division four. To cap all that off, our MV40 team is also leading division three.
The main aims of the club are to increase the participation of running in Barnoldswick and to keep organised running as accessible as possible.
