The Burnley Parkrun was marked today by a superb performance by Callum Davidson of Rossendale Harriers who set a new course record of 15:51.

Alongside the Riverside Half Marathon is a one mile fun run, which is open to anyone and everyone. Nine year old Maddison Parrington gave it a go and came away with first place with a time of 8:14.
A one-two for Barlick in this race as Raymond Edgar put in a great performance to come home in first place, followed closely by his team mate Lee Parrington.

The race winner was Garry Greenhow of Ambleside in 2:20:44. Lorraine Slater, again showing great form and endurance, led the Barlickers home and finished 52nd overall , 3rd lady and 2nd V40 (No V45 class).
The main aims of the club are to increase the participation of running in Barnoldswick and to keep organised running as accessible as possible.
