These are informal sessions and cater for all abilities. Each week, those taking part meet up at a local hostelry, have a gentle running session lasting around an hour and then retire to the bar to sample the local ale and chew the fat. Everyone is welcome on these runs including none members, in fact, they are a good way to get to know the ethos of the club and decide if it is for you.
Despite the name, the club participates in all disciplines of running, fell, cross country and road and welcomes applications from runners of all abilities to join us.
If you are interested in joinging the club, we would recommend joining us at a training session to get a feel for the club and meet some members. Sessions are posted on our Facebook site Barlick Fell Runners - Public Page. You can also message us from there if you would like more information or to arrange for soemone to meet you at your first session.
