There was a record turn out for this race which saw over 200 runners take part. Danny Collinge of Clayton took the honours, finishing ahead of Julian Hood of Barlick and John Whteside of Trawden.
The ladies' race was won by Emma Taylor of Accrington Road Runners, ahead of Victoria Mousley of Blackburn and Autumn Howard of Trawden.
The men's first team was Barlick Fell Runners with Accrington Road Runners being the first women's team.
It was great to see 38 Barlickers taking part in this race, with several new members taking part in a race for the first time. Everyone completed the race, which was a credit to our newcomers. There were five Barlickers in the top ten and there were notable performances from Carl Pawson who was first M40 and from Angela Donlan, who is very much on form at the moment, who finished first W40 and Lorraine Slater who is making her way back from injury, who finished first W45
Dan was our only vest out at this race which was won by Rob James of Royton Road Runners in 16:18
3 Daniel Balshaw 17:47
It was once again another good night out for the club especially the juniors. Twelve months ago two juniors braced the start line, a year on and we have twenty-one juniors out racing! Its great to see the club going from strength to strength both in the junior and senior section. Harley Treitl once again had a strong run to finish first in the Under 10's.

A good day out for the club. First, it was nice to see so many of our juniors out and it was great to see Lucille Pickles win the U8 race outright, beating everyone, including the boys.

A great performance by Tom Corrigan, in his first ever Three Peaks race, not only led the Barlickers home, but he finished in the top twenty. Good performances too from Julian Hood and Luke Maude meant that Barlick had three runners in the top thirty.
For the third consecutive year, Andy Berry has once more shown a vast improvement in this race and despite the harder going this year, he not only improved on his last year's time, but for the first time, finished in the top 100.
The provisional finishing positions and times for the Barlickers were as follows:

Where were all the Barlickers this evening, as only two turned up for the pub run? Ian Livesey & Scott McCredie.
Ian is still recovering from his London Marathon but that didn't appear to affect his off-road running; very impressive from someone who just 4 days earlier ran 26 miles in 2:33:27.
Scott has only just started fell running but he didn't wane on any of the ascents, in fact, he took them easily in his stride; watch out for this guy on the fells in the coming year.
It's perhaps a good job that Andy Holden of Wharfedale Harriers turned up to join the run as the other two did not know the area.
He took them on a route via Little Newton Farm, up towards Crake Moor, then returned via the summit of Newton Moor, the turning point in the Hellifield fell race, about 5.5 miles.
The main aims of the club are to increase the participation of running in Barnoldswick and to keep organised running as accessible as possible.
