This Tuesday saw round two of the bunny runs and Monday's snow and Tuesday's downpour made the course even worse than the week before which some didn't think possible. For many, it was just a challenge the stay upright never mind try and run a fast time. Young Jack Villiers led the pack home in a respectable 19th.

A trail marathon with over 7,000 ft of climb. That was the latest challenge for Cloey Mason. She finished in 67th position and 12th female in a time of 4:29:28. There were 297 starters.
We had no team selected for these relays, but Sam Boardman stepped up to the mark at the last minute, put a team together which qualified for the finals in Birmingham. Well done to Sam and to everyone who turned out and put in such good performances. Sam has put together a report of the day.
It was good to see a record number of Barlickers taking part in this race and it was good to see Jimmy Craig back racing. He is not yet back to his old self, but he was up there, coming home in 6th place. We had quite a few women out and they all put in some great performances. Leanne Dinsdale was back out racing and although she was nursing an injury and ostensibly going steady, she still led the girls home, finishing 6th female. The conditions were not the best for this race, as in view of the recent inclement weather, there was quite a bit of mud about which made the climbs even more energy sapping.
