Due to many choosing not to go up to Blencathra on Wednesday there will be a pub run up Penyghent instead. Meeting at 7pm from the first lay-by just before the Golden Lion Pub and then heading up the race route. We shall then meet in the Talbot in Settle afterwards for a few drinks.

The next race in the BOFRA calendar was Coniston Gullies. Jimmy Craig once again put in a strong performance but had to settle for second behind another top class runner Simon Bailey with Chris Edis 3rd.
Richard Lowther also took part, wearing a Barlick vest for a change, and this must have inspired him to get running and finish in front of his sister Kirsty.

15 Richard Lowther 18:02
1 Jacob Boyle 18.19
This trial took place in Winlatter Forest in the Lake District in which the top young under 18 athletes from all over the UK took part. Young Josh Boyle had a good race to finish in third place and hopefully, this will be good enough to see him earn a Great Britain vest to run in the Arco International Race in Italy in July. The results of the deliberations of the selectors will be know in about a weeks's time, so in the meantime, it is fingers crossed for Josh.
