Membership fees

Despite the name, the club participates in all disciplines of running, fell, cross country and road and welcomes applications from runners of all abilities to join us. If you are not sure if the club is for you, why not come to one of our training sessions or one of our regular pub runs. You will be under no obligation to join, but you will get a feel for the club and a better idea if the club is for you. You can merely turn up to a training session unannounced, but it would be better if you contacted our club secretary first (details on the contacts page) and let him know that you will be coming and he will make sure that whoever is leading the group will look out for you. If you are an absolute beginner to running, you too are most welcome to join us in one of our sessions, but please contact our secretary first and he will make sure that you will have a programme with which you are comfortable. Wow.  What a performance from our girls.  Three of them entered this race and they took the first three places.  You cannot get any better than that.

And every Barlicker in this race was an age category winner.

Women's Race
1 Emma Law 21:42 (1st W40)
2 Emma Taylor 22:42 (1st WSEN)
3 Paula Cullen 24:52 (1st W45)

Men's Race
8 Carl Nevison 20:56 (1st M55)

It was blustery wind and thick mud for the second of the Bunny Run series, but those conditions seem to have suited Jimmy Craig who managed a faster time than last week and he took a comfortable first place.   Andrew Smith always puts in a consistently good performance and he did so again by once more finishing 1st M60.  It was also good to see new member Sarah Allen make this her debut race for the club.

1 Jimmy Craig 17:06
52 Andrew Smith 22:47 (1st M60)
62 Hannah Newbold 23:17
77 Lucy Brown 24:31 (3rd W40)
