Lots of Barlickers out in this race and were led home by Jonathan Cleaver for the men and Rachel Villiers for the women. A good effort by all the ladies saw them come home with the team prize. Knowing the man, it was perhaps not surprising that John Boothman turned out for this race, despite his incredible 108 mile run last weekend. Given that he has given his legs little time for recovery, he did remarkably well.

Richard Treitl was out in this 9.6m / 2700ft race and came home in 2hrs 17mins 49secs, finishing 94th out of 99 finishers. It was very hot with the temperature around 30o, so it was good to get all runners back safely.
The main aims of the club are to increase the participation of running in Barnoldswick and to keep organised running as accessible as possible.
