First home in this was David Mirfield of Barlick Fell Runners who ran out a comfortable winner. David Poole, also of Barlick was in 2nd place by the summit, but he is still suffering from "Three Peaks Legs" and he was caught by Shaun Livesey of Blackburn Harriers who came through to finish in 2nd place.
The ladies race was easily won by Lisa Powell-Smith, even though she was still not fully recovered from a virus infection. However, a great run by Jacqueline Gissing saw her come home in 2nd place in her first fell race. Not far behind her was Irene Roche who also had a good run to finish 3rd lady and first W55

Only three Barlickers in this race, but they all finished inside the top ten. Nick Treitl is definitely returning to form as he showed by his second place and Carl Pawson followed up his good run last week to just nick 5th place from Chris Barnes. As for Andy Berry, 8th place was a pretty good performance for a lad who only recently broke his collar bone.
