Alistair Brownlee took part in this race and, as you might expect, he won it in a time of 38:28. His brother Jonny also took part, put was prevented from taking 2nd place by Mark Buckingham of Holmfirth. 8 second behind Jonny was the Peter Pan of fell running, Ian Holmes. Only 24 seconds separated all these runners.
Julian Hood came home in 12th place in a time of 41:45 and John Boothman, still aching from his skiiing holiday, finished in 146th place in a time of 53:49.
Some great performances at Ribble Valley. Many Barlickers got PBs and were led home by the ever improving Ian Livesey in a cracking time of 32:57.
