This race was won by Elite Runner Alberto Vender from Italy in a time of 1:06:41. Italy had three finishers in the top ten and as a result took the team prize.
Given that there were so many Elite Athletes in this race, Tim Chadwick came home in a respectable 77thd place and even Richard Treitl left over sixty runners in his wake even though he was disappointed with his race.
